These terms apply to the Tolgy app. By using the app you agree to them.

Parental consent and supervision — required

Tolgy is intended to be installed and set up by a parent or legal guardian on the parent's device. By completing setup you confirm that:

• you are the child's parent or legal guardian;
• you consent to your child speaking with the app's AI voice companion, which processes the child's voice as described in the Privacy Policy;
• your child uses the app under your supervision.

What Tolgy is (and is not)

Tolgy is an entertainment and enrichment app that encourages speaking practice through playful AI conversation. It is not a medical device, a therapy, a speech-therapy service, or a substitute for professional advice, education, or childcare. If you have concerns about your child's speech or development, consult a qualified professional.

AI-generated content

Conversations are generated live by artificial intelligence. We apply strict child-appropriate instructions and safety measures, and the AI is designed to be positive, gentle, and educational. Like all AI systems, it may occasionally say something unexpected or inaccurate. For this reason, parental supervision is required at all times. The app is not a babysitter and must not be treated as one.

Subscription

The first 5 minutes of conversation are free. Continued use requires a Tolgy Plus auto-renewable subscription: Basic (30 minutes of conversation per month; $8.99 monthly or $79.99 yearly), Pro (65 minutes per month; $19.99 monthly or $179.99 yearly) or Max (270 minutes per month; $79.99 monthly or $719.99 yearly), with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; the trial includes 15 minutes of conversation. Monthly and yearly plans of the same level include the same minutes each month; unused minutes do not roll over, and the allowance renews at the start of each calendar month. Payment is charged to your Apple account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings. Trials, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to bypass its safety measures, or use it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend service in cases of abuse.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
