How do I open the parent settings?

Tap the gear icon on the talk screen and answer the short grown-up question. There you can change the age range, language, character and speaker voice, see your remaining minutes and manage the subscription.

What's free and what does Tolgy Plus include?

The first 5 minutes of conversation are free. Tolgy Plus is an auto-renewing subscription with three levels, each billed monthly or yearly: Basic (30 minutes of conversation per calendar month; $8.99/month or $79.99/year in the US), Pro (65 minutes per calendar month; $19.99/month or $179.99/year in the US) and Max (270 minutes, i.e. 4.5 hours, per calendar month; $79.99/month or $719.99/year in the US). Local prices vary. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial that includes 15 minutes of conversation.

How do I cancel the subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Tolgy Plus → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Why did the companion fall asleep?

If nobody talks for about a minute, the companion says goodbye and takes a nap so no minutes are wasted. Just tap it to wake it up again.

Can my child leave the app by accident?

Tap the padlock on the talk screen to lock the controls; to unlock, hold the padlock for 2 seconds and answer the grown-up question. To also stop your child from leaving the app, turn on iOS Guided Access (Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access, then triple-click the side button inside Tolgy).

How do I report a response or withdraw consent?

In Parent settings, tap Report a response to email us what the companion said and when (we keep no transcripts, so your description is what we review). Tap Withdraw consent to stop all conversations immediately; nothing is sent until setup and consent are completed again.
